Pest or Disease - Symptom - Control
Aphids - Young foliage distorted - shield, super shield, confidor
Thrips - Flowers damage by flecking - shield, super shield, confidor
Caterpillars - Leaf roll and holes in leaves - shield, super shield, mavrik
Two-spotted mite - Foliage turns bronze and is unthrifty - mavrik
Black spot - Large black spots on leaves - Greenguard, fungus fighter, champion copper, baycor
Powdery mildew - Powdery growth on leaves - greenguard, fungus fighter, champion copper
Downy mildew - Young plants very unthrifty and white downy growths under leaves - fungus fighter
Rust - Bronze blisters on foliage - Bravo, baycor
Flower and bud blight - Green fluffy growth on flowers and buds - greenguard
Rose wilt virus - Leaves drop and bish is unthrifty - control aphids and remove and destroy infected bushes
